PlayStation2 Gamers Get 'Soul'

Namco’s SOULCALIBUR®II
To Feature Exclusive Character and Bonus Demo Disc
San Jose, CA., (August 20, 2003)
– This year’s most anticipated fighting game, SOULCALIBUR®II, will pack an extra
punch for PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system owners when it ships to
retailers on August 26. The game’s publisher, Namco Hometek Inc. announced
today that the initial shipment of SOULCALIBUR®II for PlayStation®2 will include
a special in-pack demo disc featuring playable demos, game trailers and
downloadable content for some of Namco’s hottest video game titles.
“SOULCALIBUR®II is at the top of many PlayStation®2 owners’ must-have list this
fall,” said Robert Ennis, Chief Financial Officer of Namco Hometek Inc. “The
demo disc is a great way to give those gamers a taste of Namco’s other
award-winning properties, as well as some new titles being released later this
year.”
The disc will include playable demos for kill.switch, I-Ninja and
TEKKEN®4 as well as exciting game trailers of R:RACING
EVOLUTION Time Crisis®3 PAC-MAN WORLD 2,
NAMCOMUSEUM, XENOSAGA EPISODE I Der Wille zur Macht, ACECOMBAT®04
and MotoGP3. Also available will be downloadable bonus content of
ACECOMBAT®04 shattered skies, MotoGP3, TEKKEN®4
and TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT.

year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, and will doubtlessly gain further praise

and anticipation for some of our other exciting franchises.”
SOULCALIBUR®II is the ultimate sequel to one of the most revered

fighting game for 2003. In addition to new and returning souls,
SOULCALIBUR®II also stars console exclusive guest characters with Tekken’s
