Hello Kitty and Friends Embark on First 3D Action Adventure, Exclusively for Nintendo GameCube(TM)

SANTA CLARA, Calif., (August 16, 2005) – Global video games publisher Namco Hometek Inc. announced today that "Hello Kitty(R) Roller Rescue" has shipped to North American retail stores. Developed exclusively for the Nintendo GameCube(TM) entertainment system, "Hello Kitty Roller Rescue" follows the famously cute icon through her first 3D adventure – filled with action and puzzle solving elements.

In "Hello Kitty Roller Rescue," Hello Kitty is tasked with saving Sanriotown from evil Block-O, the king of Block Planet. Aided by her friends – more than 20 cute Sanrio characters in all – Hello Kitty must complete missions to defeat Block-O and his clumsy minions. Set in a completely interactive 3D world populated with colorful characters and sophisticated AI, "Hello Kitty Roller Rescue" will entertain and challenge Sanrio fans.
