ID SOFTWARE, NVIDIA CROWN 1^st DOOM 3 CHAMPION AT QUAKECON 2004

GRAPEVINE, Texas (Aug. 14, 2004) - It's official - bragging rights and $25,000 go to "Fatal1ty," Jonathan Wendell, winner of the first DOOM 3 Tournament held at the 9^th annual QuakeCon. 

Bigger than ever, the $150,000 Nvidia championship tournament purse at QuakeCon was awarded to:

DOOM 3 1v1:

• 1^st Place: Fatal1ty - $25,000

• 2^nd Place: Daler - $15,000

• 3^rd Place: HS - $10,000

• 4^th Place: Clock - $6,000

• 5^th Place: El Pajuo - $4,000

QUAKE 3 Arena 1v1:

• 1^st Place: CZM - $25,000

• 2^nd Place: ZeRo4 - $15,000

• 3^rd Place: Cooller - $10,000

QUAKE 3 Arena - Capture The Flag:

• 1^st Place: Against All Authority - $20,000

• 2^nd Place: Cloud 9 - $12,000

• 3^rd Place: Gunzoids - $8,000
