Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 (PS2) Update
The Game’s Soundtrack
At the top of the list is Heavy Metal icon Ozzy Osbourne with one of his most popular songs ever: “Paranoid”. This hard rocking rendition was taken from a live performance and will get you pumped up enough to pull off multiple trick combos without breaking a sweat.
While Ozzy was the king of the rock scene in the seventies and eighties the new challenger to the rock throne is Sum 41. Currently #16 on the Billboard 200 chart, Sum 41 mixes Beastie Boys style rap with hard rocking, guitar heavy romping that is essential in any rock band. Sum 41 checks in with the killer track, “Makes No Difference”.
What kick ass soundtrack would be complete without a song from Rage Against The Machine? Well we have one that perfectly embodies Rage’s mantra of anti-establishment, anti-injustice and blowing your mind. Check out “Wake Up” on Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2’s soundtrack as well.
In addition to the above three bands our other seven bands all encompass the freestyle, “extreme” aspect that the game embodies. Hard Rock icons The Cult give us “She Sells Sanctuary”. Motley Crue drummer, Tommy Lee heads up Methods of Mayhem, who contribute “Hypocritical,” adding to the soundtrack’s already huge rock presence made solid by Fenix TX’s “All My Fault” and Godsmack’s “Keep Away”.
Rounding out the Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 soundtrack are kings of Hip Hop and Rap, Tribe Called Quest bringing us “Buggin Out” and Gang Starr giving us “Moment of Truth”.
Having all of these different bands and songs in our game will really add to the entire game play experience. There’s nothing better than living out your BMX fantasies to one of your favorite groups layin’ it down in stereo sound.
