New "Sigma Star Saga" Screenshots and Artwork Reveal an RPG Like No Other
Namco Hometek Inc. today released new screenshots and artwork from "Sigma Star Saga(TM)", the highly anticipated science fiction role-playing game for the Game Boy(R) Advance. Integrating intense space shooting elements into a detailed intergalactic storyline of love, betrayal and honor, "Sigma Star Saga" is rated E+10 by the ESRB and will debut in stores on August 16.
"Sigma Star Saga" expands the limits of the role-playing genre with a storyline set in the midst of a war across the galaxy. Players take on the role of Ian Recker, a reluctant hero sent behind enemy lines to sabotage the war machine of the evil Krill army, no matter the cost. In his journey to defeat the Krill, Recker learns that the details about the war aren’t so black and white, and he questions the motives behind his mission.
As he progresses toward his ultimate goal of thwarting the Krill, Recker will be able to develop his abilities on the ground and in the skies in his advanced spacecraft. While exploring the game’s varied planets, he will uncover new equipment that will grant him special abilities
– from hovering to enhanced vision. Recker will also find a large selection of Gun Data, items that allow him to customize the offensive and defensive properties of his spacecraft for an unprecedented level of replayability. With more than 15,000 Gun Data combinations in "Sigma Star Saga," the player can create a space fighter that matches their individual playing style.Check out all the new Screenshots
