New Screens for Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales

Playlogic International and Akella /1C have released some new screenshots for their upcoming high-seas role-playing game Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales. Set to hit the stands in September 2006, Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales invites players to experience all the swashbuckling excitement and reckless adventuring of a pirate's life on the 17th Century Caribbean seas.

With both first and third person views to choose from, players cruise the Caribbean seas, plunder the coast lines and conquer colonies in a free and open environment to become the most feared and revered pirate of the seas.

• Take on the role of either the reckless dashing fortune-hunter Blaze or the beautiful redheaded daredevil Beatrice
• Live the life of a pirate while developing skills, taking on enemies, encountering beautiful ladies and solving treasure hunts in a quest for infamy
• Multiplayer battles for up to 16 captains to prove who the top sea dog is - players can chose from Death match, Team Deathmatch, Defend the Convoy and Capture the Fort
