Sumthing Else Music Works, Inc., through a licensing relationship with Epic Games, proudly presents Gears of War® Original Soundtrack. The soundtrack from the smash hit Xbox 360™ exclusive video game is released on July 31st, 2007 to US retail outlets through Nile Rodgers’ Sumthing Else Music Works record label www.sumthing.com,  and for digital download at www.sumthingdigital.com. 

The Gears of War Original Soundtrack features over an hour of orchestral music from the game written by Kevin Riepl, orchestrated and conducted by Corey Status, and performed by The Northwest Sinfonia orchestra. This dramatic score accompanies the engaging and disturbing cinematic story including musical themes for the massively scoped worlds and memorable characters, and enhances the epic storyline that plays out like an intense and unsettling blockbuster action film.
