RUN YOUR OWN DEDICATED "AMERICA'S ARMY" SERVER -- PATCH NOW AVAILABLE ON NVIDIA.COM

NVIDIA has posted a patch update to the Recon version of the "America's Army" game on www.nvidia.com. The 3MB patch allows gamers to set up and execute their own dedicated America's Army servers. In addition, NVIDIA is providing two 'consumer-friendly' options for downloading the 208MB game: a 5-piece version of 51.2MB files and an 11-piece version of 20.5MB files.

Optimized for GeForce2 Graphics Processors (GPUs) and above, "America's Army" is an innovative, realistic computer game that provides civilians with an inside perspective and a virtual role in today's premier land force, the U.S. Army. "America's Army" game blends two vivid simulations: "Operations," a first-person shooter game that allows up to 32 players to enter into "virtual service," and "Soldiers," a role-playing game in which players navigate life's challenges to achieve goals. When powered by NVIDIA GPUs, "America's Army" achieves awesome levels of graphic quality -- from barracks and bunkers rendered in rich 3D detail to the true-to-life character animations of real soldiers -- to deliver a truly immersive gaming experience.
