Vivendi Games Deploys Physics Video for Joint Task Force

Vivendi Games and co-publishing partner HD Publishing today unveiled a new video showcasing the fully-destructible 3D combat environments of their upcoming PC real-time strategy title, Joint Task Force. Displaying the advanced capabilities of the game engine, the trailer shows an embattled, smoke-filled city block overrun with tanks and infantry. Modern weaponry blasts away as civilians run for their lives. Buildings, cars and streetlamps fly apart as bombers and helicopters lay waste to the street from overhead.

Joint Task Force uses AGEIA™ PhysX ™ technology to create the game's awesome physical effects. The game is also optimized to take advantage of PCs equipped with the AGEIA PhysX processor, which delivers an even higher level of physics-based reality.

Developed by Most Wanted Entertainment, Joint Task Force will be available this fall.

Joint Task Force is the real-time strategy game where players command the frontline forces in tomorrow’s most hazardous conflicts. As field commanders on the furthest front lines, players will bring officially-licensed military technology to bear in real-world combat situations.
