Groundbreaking Naval Action Simulation comes to North America

Houston, Texas - July 8  2003, DreamCatcher Games today announced that it will publish Enigma: Rising Tide developed by Tesseraction Games on PC-CD in North America.

Controlling the battle at sea ultimately leads to a victory in any war and Enigma: Rising Tide allows gamers to do just that. Battling as one of three factions (US, German or the League of Free Nations) players must control a naval fleet of destroyers, submarines, battleships or cruisers. Each commander must deploy suitable weapons to tackle an ever-evolving enemy, from deploying deck guns and torpedoes to launching hedgehogs and depth charges.

The game is not just about blowing ships up though! Players must use stealth and cunning to plan each mission and communicate with their whole fleet. Gamers will also learn how to evade deadly torpedoes and pluck salvage from the wreckage of enemy vessels. The game features an intuitive interface and superb real-time cinematic action as well as real-time weather that effects ocean dynamics and watercraft physics.

Enigma: Rising Tide has an RP ESRB rating at time of press and will ship on August 21st, 2003 with an SRP of $39.99.
