NCsoft launches the Second Annual City of Heroes Film Festival

City of Heroes, one of the most popular massively multiplayer online video games on the market today, is opening competition in the Second Annual Paragon City Film Festival, where players of City of Heroes create a three minute movie about their experiences in the game.

The film festival will have four categories this year as well as a best-of-show winner. The categories include best action, best comedy, best animated and best live action film.

The film festival contest, which is already accepting entries, will end by midnight on Sunday, Aug. 14, with winners receiving several prizes including Toshiba TiVo’s, Apple Ipods and slots in the upcoming City of Villains beta test. Also, each winner will have their movie placed on the City of Villains game disc when the stand alone sequel to City of Villains is released later this year.
