Global Star Software Announces Final Stretch: Horse Racing Sim
Today Global Star Software, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive (NASDAQ: TTWO), announced plans to release Final Stretch: Horse Racing Sim for the PC. Developed by Cyanide Studios and already a popular title in Europe, Global Star Software currently plans to release Final Stretch in the summer of 2003, and is perfect for horse racing enthusiasts as well as casual horse enthusiasts.
Playing upon the rich tradition of raising, racing, and betting on thoroughbred steeds, the game allows the player to experience every facet of professional horse racing, from being a horse stable owner, a jockey or an eager audience member betting on race results. The player will be able to build the ultimate stable from the ground up, utilizing every tool of the trade, from worker residences to professionally outfitted stables. They will also be able to take the reins of a powerful thoroughbred and challenge the pack in breathtaking 3D environments, complete with authentic grounds and surrounding features loyal to their global location, with unique weather conditions. Also, the player can visit any of the in-game race tracks and keep their distinctive environment and layout qualities in mind as bookies and horse racing magazines offer advice on picking a sure fire winner.
