Paradox sets street date for Crusader Kings

Paradox Entertainment sets North American street date for Crusader Kings Today Swedish developer and publisher Paradox Entertainment announced a street date for the release of Crusader Kings in North America. This is the first title self-published by Paradox Entertainment in the territory.

Crusader Kings will be in stores on September 21st, and as a step in Paradox Entertainment’s long-term strategy, the company will self-publish the title in North America.

“After having successfully published our games in key European markets, we are now ready for the important and challenging North American market.” says Theodore Bergquist, CEO of Paradox Entertainment “Self-publishing is a way for Paradox to secure our intellectual property and to serve our customers in a better way”.

Atari, with whom Paradox Entertainment recently signed an affiliate label deal, will handle the North American distribution.

“Atari is a successful distributor with a great team, and we are very pleased to be recognized as an affiliate partner in the Atari portfolio”, Bergquist concludes.

At the same time Paradox announces, in celebration of the 60th anniversary of D-Day, a re-launch of the highly praised and award-winning World War 2 Strategy Game Hearts of Iron.
