GameZone.com goes one-on-one with The Agency's Hal Milton

Cover blown on SOE's pending spy-game/shooter MMO

Hal Milton has been around the block a few times, in terms of crafting video games. He also knows a thing or two about massively multiplayer online titles. Just take a look at the games he has on his resume: Diablo II, Wing Commander: Secret Ops, Jane's Combat Simulations: Longbow, Ultima Online, Wing Commander: Prophecy, Privateer 2: The Darkening, Wing Commander: The Kilrathi Saga, CyberMage: Darklight Awakening, and a cancelled title from Microsoft (one that was getting a lot of buzz) - Mythica.

When Microsoft cancelled Mythica, Hal and some of his dev team left the company and formed FireAnt Studios. That company was working on a title that was undisclosed, but still drawing interest. This is a shooter title based in the spy world, pitting two agencies against one another. The action promises to be top-notch, the humor runs the gamut from obvious to a bit of a sly wink. The graphics are also first rate.

Back on May 3rd, Sony Online Entertainment hosted a press event at the Sony Picture Studios location, taking about its stable of MMOs. The Agency was on that list and it was there that GameZone.com caught up with Hal Milton. Here is that interview …
