Neverwinter Nights to Appear at A-KON

Obsidian Entertainment has announced that their long-awaited PC RPG, Neverwinter Nights 2, will be appearing at the upcoming A-KON convention in Dallas, TX. The event, which will be held June 9 through 11 from 8:00 am to 7:00pm at The Adam’s Mark Hotel on 400 Olive St., is an annual event dedicated to pop-culture trends and youth culture, and will feature several different kinds of popular media, like movies, anime, and comics, as well as video games.

Obisidian’s Chris Avellone, Josh Sawyer, and Tramell Issac will all be present at the event to show an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at Neverwinter Nights, as well as discuss the internal workings of a game studio, providing insight as to how to begin a career in the field of game development.

The original Neverwinter Nights has sold more than two-million copies worldwide. The sequel is scheduled to release this September.
