THQ’s RED FACTION TOPS NATION’S SALES CHARTS
PlayStation 2 Game Hits Number One In First Week At Retail
CALABASAS HILLS, Calif., - June 5, 2001 - THQ Inc. (NASDAQ NMS: THQI) announced today that its action thriller Red Faction™ for the Sony PlayStation® 2 computer entertainment system was the number one selling videogame in the country for the week of May 20-26. According to independent retail data from the NPD Group, Red Faction, which shipped to retail on May 22, sold through more than a projected 60,000 units in its first four days of availability.
