NEW CRASH BANDICOOT GAMES FOR NINTENDO PLATFORMS OFFER MULTIPLE LINK CAPABILITIES

Crash Bandicoot Debuts On Nintendo GameCube(TM) In 2002 And Returns To Game Boy(R) Advance In 2003

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., May 22, 2002  Universal Interactive, Inc., a studio of Vivendi Universal Games, announced today that its multi-million-selling marsupial, Crash Bandicoot, is scheduled for release on two upcoming titles for Nintendo video game systems featuring innovative connectivity between the Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy(R) Advance.

Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex for the Nintendo GameCube(TM) features connectivity technology enabling players to download an exclusive mini-game playable on the Game Boy Advance via the Nintendo GameCube(TM)-Game Boy(R) Advance cable. The mini-game requires no Game Pak but instead utilizes the built-in memory of the Game Boy(TM) Advance hardware. In addition, owners of Crash Bandicoot for Nintendo GameCube will be able to unlock hidden features in the upcoming Game Boy Advance title Crash Bandicoot 2 (working title).

Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex(TM), scheduled for release in third quarter 2002, follows the same action-packed storyline as Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex released for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system and the Xbox(TM) video game system from Microsoft.
