Game ElementsTM by Philips’ introduction of wireless controllers cut gamers loose

LOS ANGELES – Providing the ultimate in flexibility, Game Elements by Philips’ wireless controllers allow gamers the ability to play virtually anywhere in the room. Showcased today at the 2005 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the new wireless controllers offer features such as channel switching, radio frequency wireless technology and vibration mode for PlayStation2™ (PS2™) and personal computer systems.

Simplify Gaming with Wireless Wave Controllers (GGE609U, GGE633 and GGE917)
Utilizing cutting-edge radio frequency (RF) technology, the new Wireless Wave Controllers allow gamers to play up to 100 feet away from their console. Game Elements controllers are compatible with PSone™ and PSX™ and can operate with up to four wireless controllers simultaneously. To fully immerse gamers, the GGE609U offers additional features such as channel switching, macro functionality, turbo/slow modes and vibration function. The GGE609U will be available in July and will have a suggested retail price of $29.99.

Play the newest games and movies from up to 100 feet away with the Game Elements GGE633 that incorporates game playing with DVD functionality all in one. The ultimate game controller, the GGE633 offers consumers the ability to enjoy hours of their favorite games, and with the touch of a button, control their favorite DVDs. The Wireless Wave 2 Controller also features 2.4GHz RF technology, a rubberized comfort grip coating and a dual vibration function. Available in June, the product will retail for $34.99.

For the PC crowd out there, Game Elements has the new GGE917 Wireless Wave PC controller. Featuring pressure-sensitive controls, the new controller operates on 2.4GHz RF technology to enable mobility and a coated grip to maintain comfort while playing. It also comes with a recharging dock receiver and is Windows XP, 2000, 98SE and ME compatible. Available in May, the GGE917 will retail for $34.99
