Bethesda Softworks to Publish Black & White For PlayStation® This Fall

Award-winning "god simulation" license coming soon to best-selling console

Rockville, MD - May 10, 2002 -- Bethesda Softworks Inc., a ZeniMax Media company, today announced that it will publish Black & White for the PlayStation® game console throughout North America. This award-winning, best selling title, created by Lionhead Studios, is a unique god simulation game that allows you to play the role of a god as you interact with villagers.

Indulge your despotic tendencies in a PlayStation game that gives you ultimate control. Control every aspect of the lives of your citizens, command a variety of different tribes, cast dozens of spells or use your titan, to crush the opposition. Eight tribes live their lives in harmony. They work the land, fish the sea, build homes and farm animals. They only want for one thing. A god. And this is where you come in.
