PC Aviator Releases MegaCity USA 2005 – Atlanta

The city of Atlanta plus 10,000 square miles of surrounding area all recreated from aerial photography for realistic visual flying with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004

MegaScenery publisher, PC Aviator, today began shipping the next title from the MegaScenery development team – MegaCity USA 2005 - Atlanta.

MegaScenery has gone south as MegaCity Atlanta recreates the “mega” city of Atlanta plus a massive 10,000 square miles of surrounding areas of the state of Georgia for visual flying with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 that’s at a level of clarity that is almost as real as real life itself.

Now anyone who has ever wanted to fly in the area that boasts the world’s busiest airport in terms of passenger movements – Atlanta Hartsfield International – and experience it in true-to-life detail can now do so as the entire city of Atlanta is recreated at a level of detail that lets Flight Simulator pilots even identify every sand trap on every golf course in the area covered.

While the company is not endorsing it as a flight training tool or a replacement for any flight instruction the product does enable actual real world pilots and student pilots to gain familiarity of the area for real world flight ops and VFR flying applications.
