Pearl Harbor: Zero Hour to Debut in May 2001
NEW YORK, April 11, 2001 – Simon & Schuster Interactive announced today the Company is publishing “Pearl Harbor: Zero Hour,” a PC CD-ROM game set in World War II where gamers go on bombing and dogfighting missions against Japanese forces (Windows® ME, 98, 95; $19.95 estimated street). Developed by ASAP Games, PEARL HARBOR: ZERO HOUR gives gamers arcade- style control over historic aircraft as they fly missions such as the Battle of Midway and Guadalcanal.

PEARL HARBOR:ZERO HOUR begins with a fully rendered, real-time re-enactment of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, including the sinking of the U.S.S. Arizona. Then, it’s payback time. Choose from 14 aircraft, including famous planes such as the Corsair, P-51 Mustang and B- 25 bomber. Dogfight, dive-bomb and torpedo the Japanese forces in 10 missions – all drawn from the Pacific campaign battles of World War II, including Guadalcanal, The Battle of Midway, and Okinawa. Each mission has different objectives, such as protecting U.S. Forces from attack and destroying key Japanese forces.
PEARL HARBOR: ZERO HOUR also features training missions featuring the “Flying Tigers.” This group of World War II volunteer pilots fought with the Chinese against Japanese forces before the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
PEARL HARBOR AUDIOBOOK INCLUDED! This PC game comes with the complete audiobook CD “Pearl Harbor” by Randall Wallace – the novelization of the highly anticipated motion picture starring Ben Affleck and Cuba Gooding, Jr. opening Memorial Day weekend.
