New Trailer and Screens Released for Chromehounds
SEGA of America has released some brand new screenshots and trailer for the highly anticipated mech game, Chromehounds. Chromehounds is SEGA’s robust multiplayer squad based game exclusively for the Xbox 360.
Players will be able to choose and customize one of six different types of giant metal war machines called “Hounds” to fight in the war of the future between three superpower nations fighting for world domination. Choose from a Scout, Soldier, Sniper, Defender, Heavy Gunner or Tactics Commander and build your platoon to gain control of the world. Each Hound is fully customizable and has its own tactical advantage/disadvantage adding a strategic element to the gameplay.

Chromehounds supports up to six-on-six players online using Xbox Live. Players will be able to build squads of up to 20 players and take to the field in groups of 6. The game also supports a single player mode where players can improve their fighting styles and play against the aggressive A.I. included in the game.
SEGA has also released a some new screens for the game. This batch of screenshots gives you a sneak peak of some of the Hounds during the building phase. You’ll find a Tactics Commander, a Heavy Gunner, a Scout and a Soldier.

Chromehounds is being developed by FROM Software and is slated to ship summer 2006.
