Quake 4 Patch Pulled from Web

id Software has pulled their just released 1.1 Patch for Quake 4, citing potential damage to widescreen monitors

id Software has recalled their 1.1 patch for Quake 4. The patch, which was released yesterday, may cause damage to monitors when played in the game's widescreen mode. id Software advises those who have downloaded the patch and are currently using the 1.1 beta and/or the final version to not enable widescreen mode or disable it should they be using it.

id Software also announced that they are working on a re-release that will be available as soon as possible. Keep posted for more details.
