Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories GBC

Yu-Gi-Oh! Is poised to take the American gaming nation by storm, so those little fuzzy Pokemon and Digimon had better watch their backs! Yu-Gi-Oh!, the latest anime sensation from Japan is making its US debut with Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories for PlayStation and Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories for GBC. 

Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories will be the first Yu-Gi-Oh! game released in America.  This is a card-collecting game in which you have to attack, defend, and combine monsters and set traps to drain your opponents' Life Points. You have eight different card types to choose from- Earth, Wind, Water, Fire, Dark, Light, Magic, and Trap — and you can use these cards to complete their 40-card decks.

Ultimately, you will come face to face with the four Rulers of Ancient Egypt, keepers of the fabled Millennium Items. It’s critical that you learn that strategy is the key of the game as you launch attacks like Fusion and Sacrifice to call up increasingly powerful monsters. If you defeat opponents through hotshot strategy that exploit your monster and magic cards to your advantage, you get to be the King of Games.

Konami has announced that a set of collectible cards will be included in the Game Boy Color version of Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories. The set will include three different holographic silver-foil cards that will only be available inside the packaging of the game. Only the initial shipment of the game will include the limited-edition cards. Subsequent shipments will include a completely different set of cards. The limited-edition cards will include three monsters: blue-eyed white dragon, exodia the forbidden one, and dark magician. Get ‘em while they’re hot!

You can choose to compete against the game's artificial intelligence or another player. With options that let you choose from a deck of hundreds of unique battle cards with thousands of possible combinations, Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories looks like a surefire winner.
