EA to close MMP on Septmber 22

According to information on the Earth & Beyond Web site ( http://www.earthandbeyond.ea.com/home/index_marketing.jsp ): "Starting September 22, 2004, Earth & Beyond will no longer be in service. After an amazing two years of galactic adventure, Electronic Arts has made the decision to close Earth & Beyond in order to focus resources on future games."

Earth & Beyond was launched in September of 2002 and combined economic aspects with combat on a galactic scope.
