Hot Shots Golf®3 Playboy Spring Break Events
With College Spring break in full effect this month, PlayStation and Playboy have teamed up to promote the launch of Hot Shots Golf 3 in South Padre Island, Texas and Panama City, Florida.
Who: Sony Computer Entertainment America, Inc. and Playboy
What: SCEA and Playboy will have spring break presence in South Padre Island, Texas and Panama City Beach, Florida. At both locations, SCEA and Playboy will be hosting the Hot Shots Golf 3 “Longest Drive” competition as well as conducting a PlayStation®2 giveaway. More specifics below…
Hot Shots Golf 3 “Longest Drive” Competition: To enter, participants must show up at the Hot Shots Golf 3 / Playboy tent during the designated hours (see below). Participants must play Hot Shots Golf 3 on PlayStation 2 to hit the longest drive for a chance to win a copy of Hot Shots Golf 3. A leaderboard will be used to keep track of the longest drive per competition. In case of a tie, the participants will drive another ball. There will be three winners everyday – the awards will be held at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.
PlayStation 2 giveaway: To be eligible for the drawing, participants must fill out a PlayStation Underground registration form. Forms will be collected throughout the event. The drawing will be held on the last day of the event where one lucky participant will win a PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system.
When: March 9-16, 2002
Hot Shots Golf 3 “Longest Drive” competition: 12-1pm, 2-3pm, 4-5pm daily
Where: South Padre Island, Texas – The Hot Shots Golf 3 / Playboy tent will be situated at Louie’s Backyard.
Panama City, Florida – The Hot Shots Golf 3 / Playboy tent will be situated next to Club LaVela
