ACTIVISION IS ASKING SOLDIER OF FORTUNE II: DOUBLE HELIX FANS TO SHOW SOME SKIN

Santa Monica, CA - February 1, 2002 - Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) and Raven Software are asking the hardcore community to show a little skin as part of a new online promotion for their highly anticipated action game, Soldier Of Fortune II: Double Helix.  Fans can enter the contest by designing and submitting  their own custom skin for one of the game's character models.  One grand prize winner will receive a prize package and have their custom skin included in the final release of Soldier Of Fortune II: Double Helix when the game ships later this year.  Soldier Of Fortune II: Double Helix is rates "M" for mature by the ESRB and carries a carries a descriptor for animated blood, gore and violence.

Entries are to be sent via email to Raven Software at sof2contest@ravensoft.com, and contain the name, address, phone number and email of the applicant as well as the skin in a compressed .ZIP format.  Submissions must be received by midnight March 14, 2002, and will be judged by members of the Raven Software production and management team.  For a list of official rules, prizes and skinning utilities fans can reference:
