iFone Launches V-Rally 3D For Mobile Phones
V-Rally 3D speeds on to mobile phones
iFone, the leading wireless entertainment publisher, and Atari, Inc., a leading global publisher of video games, today announced the launch of ATARI's V-Rally 3D for mobile phones which will be available through mobile network operators from February.
V-Rally 3D is iFone's first in a series of 3D games expected to be launched in 2006 and is based on Atari's best Selling PlayStation console version. Synonymous with high speed and adrenaline thrills V-Rally 3D pushes the limits of the mobile phone platform to deliver a spectacular multi-player console-like racing experience.
This exclusive mobile version offers stunning 3D racing action on 12 tracks spread over three locations across the globe. Each different location offers a range of unique features and varied track conditions. Players can keep track of their vitals during the game with a sophisticated in game interface which includes a Timer, Speedometer and Tachometer. Three modes of play are available including a race against the clock in Time attack, Championship mode which includes a range of unique driving features and Multiplayer mode which allows players from around the globe to compare their driving skills with other players by racing ghost cars downloaded from the high score hall of Fame rankings.
