Pro Race Driver Pc Playable Demo Now Available

Experience the most aggressive exhibition of close contact racing as Codemasters today launched the
playable demo for Pro Race Driver’s enhanced PC edition. The Pro Race Driver demo
offers a taste of the game’s single-player racing mode, in anticipation of the full game’s launch on
March 28, 2003. The demo opens with the player behind the wheel of a Proton Satria, in a test drive
at Brands Hatch. After that it is on to a full two-lap race in a BTCC Lexus LS200. A similarly
enhanced edition of the game will also be available for the Xbox videogame system from Microsoft on
March 28, 2003.
Pro Race Driver’s PC and Xbox editions are even more fierce than the best-selling original
game on the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system. The new versions will make any driver’s
adrenaline race, with up to 20 cars tearing up the track simultaneously -- six more cars than in the
original game.
The full game has players competing as race car professionals in a gaming experience featuring 42
real race cars, 13 championships and an incredible 38 real-life, internationally renowned, race
circuits. The new editions will also add a qualifying round to the championship races.
