NEGL launches a new state of the art Electronic Gaming league in Northern California

The National Electronic Gaming League [NEGL] is the beginning of a new era in electronic gaming. This is a league where the gamer is king. NEGL’s primary mission is to provide participants with a highly competitive, fun filled atmosphere in which one will encounter the ultimate experience in the electronic gaming industry. The NEGL is dedicated to building a national organization that will provide competitive and fun venues for thousands of seasoned and novice gamers across the nation. The NEGL believes that it is paramount to create not only a competitive environment, but one where enthusiast can meet new friends, socialize with gamers on a weekly basis and leave one’s home gaming environment for a face to face action packed experience. Creating this type of environment will make electronic gaming more visible, mainstream, highly respected and recognized by most people.

Those that join the NEGL will experience gaming seasons, playoffs, championship tournaments, and cash prizes. NEGL is seeking sponsorships, endorsements, and will have employment opportunities for referees and promotions, and internships available for news reporters for a state of the art website that will attract many gamers.

NEGL’s eventual goal is to take the art of electric gaming to a higher level, to be a league like no other, and develop a national gaming league that will stretch from the West Coast to the East Coast.

The NEGL will launch its inaugural season with the Halo Free-For-All Championship Series beginning with an 8-week tour of demonstration sites of the NEGL Professional Gaming platform on February 28th at the Amerisuites Hotel in Fremont, and ending April 18th at the Holiday Inn Express in San Jose. Registration for the first season will begin on February 23, and full details can be viewed at www.negl.org . The Halo Free-For-All Championship Series will start on June 11, 2004 and will end with the Championship Tournament on August 28, 2004. The series will take place in Northern California and will run concurrently at 8 different hotel accommodations in the following cities:

● Belmont ● San Ramon ● Oakland ● San Jose ● Fremont ● Vacaville ● Modesto ● Stockton
