Akira Yamaoka to Perform at PLAY! A Video Game Symphony
Akira Yamaoka, acclaimed producer and composer for Konami’s Silent Hill video game series, will perform at the “PLAY! A Video Game Symphony” premiere in Chicago this May. Accompanied by a full orchestra, Mr. Yamaoka will perform a selection of his music from the Silent Hill series including favorites such as “Theme of Laura” on guitar. In addition to creating the music and sound for the Silent Hill video games, Mr. Yamaoka has released solo albums of original music and recently contributed to the score of the upcoming Silent Hill motion picture, to be released this April.
