New Screens for Ancient Wars: Sparta

This spring, PC gamers will get to recreate the epic history of the Spartans, Persians and Egyptians in Ancient Wars: Sparta, the new real time strategy title from Eidos and Playlogic. Based on a gripping historical account of ancient lands and tribes from the classical era 700 - 300 B.C, Sparta consists of massive campaigns for all three races. To celebrate the anticipated release of Sparta, Eidos has released ten brand new screenshots.

Using specific powers according to your tribe, players fight to conquer the world of Little Asia, Europe and North Africa in over thirty different missions and command huge armies with hundreds of troops using a large variety of units, ships, chariots and siege weapons.

In Sparta you have a massive amount of armory and weapons at your disposal - you can even use weapons that have been abandoned by slain characters and import powerful weapons from other cultures in your quest for domination. Natural elements like wind and fire can also be used in gameplay with realistic physical effects.

Build and strengthen your tribe’s economy by letting your workers construct buildings and gather resources while you upgrade your defenses with manned city walls and strengthen your army with battleships, siege weapons and cavalry.
