Global Star Software Ships Airport Tycoon 2 for PC

 

February 14 th, 2003 - Toronto, Canada - Today Global Star Software, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive (NASDAQ: TTWO),  began shipping Airport Tycoon 2 for the PC platform.  This long awaited, highly anticipated sequel to the original 3D airport management sim, Airport Tycoon (2000), will arrive on store shelves by the end of the month.

Airport Tycoon 2 will allow players to oversee every aspect of building and operating a full-scale international airport.  Players begin the game by choosing a site to build their airport from over 25 diverse locations across the globe.  As the game progresses, they must make bold and timely decisions to construct and evolve into the world's largest transportation mecca.  To achieve success, players must build efficiently, contract reliable airlines, provide airtight security, offer the ultimate in service,  and more.

Airport Tycoon 2 was developed by Sunstorm Interactive, and is rated "E for Everyone" by the ESRB.  It will be released in stores worldwide at an expected street price of $19.99.
