Halo 2 Coming to PC
Game will require Microsoft's new operating system to run
Microsoft and Bungie announced yesterday that Halo 2 would be coming to the PC. The game, which is being developed by Bungie themselves (not Gearbox, the developers behind Brothers in Arms, who also developed the first Halo on the PC), will be exclusive to Microsoft's new operating system, Windows Vista.
The Vista version of Halo 2 will feature all that the Xbox version currently has to offer, including the maps found in the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack, released on the Xbox last summer. Players will also be able to create and customize their own multiplayer maps.
While no release date has been given for the game, Vista is scheduled to hit the market before the end of the year.
