Runaway Demo Launches Players into a World of Adventure

CDV Software Entertainment USA and Focus Home Interactive today released a new single-player demo for their upcoming comedic adventure game - Runaway: The Dream of the Turtle. The one-level demo will have players taking on the role of lead adventurer Brian as he attempts to save his poisoned friend, Joshua. Traveling around the Alaskan wilderness, the player will be challenged to find just the right ingredients to create an antidote for his traveling companion while avoiding the dangers all around.

Though this demo introduces the fourth chapter of the game, puzzles have been reworked and the solution of the main enigma is completely different. Also, new dialogs have been recorded especially for this demo to offer players a completely new adventure sequence.

Finally, the demo includes a few bonuses such as a superbly illustrated intro to present the adventure, and players will happily find (through a menu option) a video telling the story of Brian and Gina’s previous adventure.

Humor, hotties, hijinks and a hilarious plotline all combine to make a fantastically fun adventure in Runaway: The Dream of the Turtle, the sequel to 2003's smash-hit adventure, Runaway, A Road Adventure. In Runaway: The Dream of the Turtle, players will travel the world, from Alaska and Hawaii to the depths of the sea and the sky above. In The Dream of the Turtle, you'll be immersed in a tongue-in-cheek story where you’ll meet a crazy cast of miscreants in order to solve a mystery too weirdly entertaining for words in this title that pays homage to all that was great about the glory days of graphical adventure games.
