San Francisco, CA - February 1, 2002 - Ubi Soft Entertainment, one of the world's largest video game publishers, today announced that it has shipped Salt Lake 2002*, the official video game of the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games on Game Boy Advance. Salt Lake 2002 is available now at retail stores with an MSRP of $34.99.

Salt Lake 2002 Features:
Salt Lake 2002 allows one to four players to compete against the world's best athletes in six official events from the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games, including:

o Alpine Skiing Downhill: Race at daredevil speeds reaching 80 mph and take insane drops stretching 1100 meters down. The fastest to hit the bottom wins.

o Alpine Skiing Slalom: Finesse your way through the winding course and hit each gate. The gold goes to the athlete with the lowest combined time from 2 runs.

o Two-man Bobsleigh: Be number one with a bobsleigh bullet at 90mph. The team with the lowest combined time over 4 runs wins the gold.

o Ski Jumping K120 Individual: Build up massive speed and launch off a ramp in a challenge to get the biggest air. The gold goes to the skier with the farthest launch and the most style.

o Snowboard Parallel Giant Slalom: Race head-to-head against another boarder in a double-elimination, round-robin tournament-style competition.

o Curling: The age-old contest of curling pits two teams against each other on ice as they heave a 42-pound stone toward a series of circles. Points are scored for the stone closest to the center.

Salt Lake 2002 also features four Gameplay Modes:

o Olympic: Experience the full grandeur of the Olympic Winter Games as you compete in all 7 events.

o Classic: Your dreams of Olympic gold are tested against increasing levels of difficulty through all 7 events of this single-player mode.

o Tournament: Challenge your friends to a single-elimination, 4-player tournament to decide who is the greatest Olympian.

o Time Trial: Go head-to-head against the clock in all 7 events and battle for the best time.
