Bellevue, WA (January 22, 2002) - Sierra Entertainment, Inc. and Papyrus Racing Games are proud to announce that NASCAR(r) Racing 2002 Season, the latest edition to the award winning racing franchise, has gone gold. NASCAR(r) Racing 2002 Season offers race fans more features to capture the heart-pounding intensity of actual NASCAR(r) racing better than ever.
For the first time in the history of Papyrus racing titles, race against a field of forty-two NASCAR(r) Winston Cup drivers featured in NASCAR(r) Racing 2002 Season. In addition, all new driving lessons, including optimum driving lines that change color to show the best braking and acceleration areas, and track tutorials narrated by 3-time Winston Cup Champion Darrell Walltrip, provide novice and seasoned drivers the most accessible and unique driving experience available.
Continuing to capture the realism of NASCAR(r) Racing, NASCAR(r) Racing 2002 Season will include the latest 2002 paint schemes and every Winston Cup track, including Chicagoland Speedway and Kansas Speedway .
