ASHERON'S CALL "DREAM EVENT" WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Microsoft today announced the grand prize and runner-up winners of the Asheron's Call "Dream Event" contest. Participants were asked to submit a written description of an event scenario that best evolves the game's plot and storyline, and provides additional gameplay content for the tens of thousands of players in the dynamic world of Asheron's Call. Additionally, members of the Asheron's Call development team will be on hand tomorrow, January 17, in the Zone Theater Chat Room to talk about the game and the recent "Dream Event" contest.
The grand prize winner of the Asheron's Call "Dream Event" is Brent Schmidt; with D. Matthew Williams winning first runner-up, and Andrew Goodman taking home the prize for second runner-up. Schmidt will receive a complementary one-year subscription to Asheron's Call, a US$119 value. Williams and Goodman will receive a six-month subscription and one-month subscription to the game, respectively.
Tomorrow, January 17, at 5:00 p.m. PST, lead developers from Turbine Entertainment will be in the Zone Theater Chat Room http://www.zone.com/zzzz/auditorium.asp to talk about anything and everything Asheron's Call. To participate in the Asheron's Call chat, click "Chat & Events" on the navigation bar across the top of any Zone page, and then click "Chat Rooms" and "Zone Theater Chat" in the room list.
Asheron's Call is a massively multiplayer role-playing game playable exclusively on Zone.com (http://www.zone.com/) that draws together thousands of players within a dynamic, 3-D online world.
