Ghost Recon Jungle Storm Movie Released

The Ghosts are back in action! Check out the latest movie from Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Jungle Storm.  The trailer highlights two new features of the game: Quick Command (move your squad with the touch of a button) and Quick Character Selection (switch player control to another squad member with the touch of a button).

Why it's cool:

• Quick Command

  • Previously had to exit the game to a command interface to move your troops

  • Now all you have to do it point your reticle anywhere on the game map, press R2, and the other squad will move to that location

  • In the heat of a firefight, this allows you to move your squads into strategic positions quickly and accurately

• Quick character selection     

  • Normally, you press the "Y" button to cycle through your teammates to control them

  • Point your reticle on a teammate you want to control and press the "Select" button.  You will instantly switch control to this teammate

  • This allows you to immediately take control of a squad member who is in the best position to take out an enemy, allowing the player more chances to get the kill shot

• How to use them together

  • When you spot an enemy, initiate a firefight with the player you control

  • Quickly move your other squad to a flank position using quick command

  • "Select" one of the members from the other squad

  • Use that member to sneak up on the enemy and take him out while the original squad is distracting him with heavy fire

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Jungle Storm ships for the PlayStation 2 in February 2004.
