GameZone's Review

Michael Knutson: The music for Mass Effect is one of the best scores for a videogame I have heard in years. From the moment the game loads to the ending credits, the music will move you through the game. The music only gets better when you are in the midst of battle, as it stirs up your emotions and pumps your adrenaline to defeat the enemy.

Stephen Woodward: Mass Effect has delivered an incredible score of 70's era synths and orchestrations.

Angelina Sandoval: Mass Effect has one of the most hauntingly beautiful and memorable original scores to grace a console game and it will, without a doubt, fit right in with other classic RPG scores of the Final Fantasy variety.

Eduardo Zacarias: Possessing one of the most cinematic and gorgeous original scores you’ll hear in a game, Mass Effect’s music deserves a CD of its own. It connects each scene beautifully and will echo in your ears. As you can tell, I love Mass Effect’s original score.

Natalie Romano: The gorgeous original score that compliments the game’s great visuals makes Mass Effect a cinematic experience. You just have to love the wonderfully orchestrated tunes featured here.

Nick Valentino: There’s just one word that can be used to describe Mass Effect’s original score and it is “cinematic.” Really, this game has a great score that compliments the game’s story and visuals quite nicely.

Steven Hopper: Mass Effect's score composed of spooky and spacey synthesizers that help accentuate both the game's strong aesthetic qualities and atmosphere.
