Michael Lafferty: Sony had the opportunity to create a title that went beyond the usual fare in aerial combat and while some of the actions were definitely entertaining, on the whole, this title took a great concept and delivered a rather ordinary experience. LAIR could have been so much more than what it turned out to be. Stephen Woodward: The hype for this game went about as high as any dragon could possibly soar -- the higher it went, the harder it fell. Eduardo Zacarias: This is one game that had the potential to being one of the most interesting and amazing experiences for the PlayStation 3. Sadly, this one just doesn’t have anything that would have made it a great console exclusive. Sorry, but you can color us very disappointed. Angelina Sandoval: As a game reviewer, I could easily express how bad a game really is but somehow I find it very hard to form the words to describe my complete disappointment in LAIR. Maybe it was all the pre and post E3 buildup that made PS3 think this was going to be a true gaming event but rather this is a stinker that should be avoided at all costs. Natalie Romano: Sadly, this is not the game that will light the PlayStation 3 aflame nor is it a good game in general. The theme is interesting enough but the rest of the game just doesn’t fall together all that well to make it a fun game to play. Steven Hopper: What could've been an awesome dragon game went down in flames (pun intended) when Lair, one of the most anticipated PS3 games around, shipped with buggy performance and lousy controls, making it no fun whatsoever to play.
