Still, while tough as nails, fans of the genre will definitely welcome this type of challenge. Angelina Sandoval: Tony Hawk made it easy to pull off a killer kick flip but it’s skate that will really make you work the trick the way a real skater would on a half pipe. Yes, the game’s tricks require patience to pull them off successfully but this is what makes the game so special … and most challenging. Natalie Romano: Tilt the controller, tap the B button and hop you can land that double kick flip without breaking your character in half (or hurting your fingers in the process). As far as skating games are concerned, skate is a challenging skating game that makes Tony Hawk’s franchise seem like kid’s play. Nick Valentino: EA’s skating game is fun, but it is also one seriously challenging game that isn’t easy to play. For those gamers looking for a good challenge, this game delivers a tough skating simulation that will not fail to give you a lot to do. Steven Hopper: With challenging yet rewarding controls, skate was one of the toughest games to master this year, but ultimately made the struggle for the best tricks a worthy endeavor.
