GameZone 2007 Game of the Year Awards
PSP Game Of The Year

While it may not have the high sales numbers of the Nintendo DS, the PSP is still a strong competitor in the handheld realm. Plus, with the new PSP Slim model available on store shelves, the system is even more enticing to gamers looking to take their gaming on the move.

PSP Game Of The Year 2007

Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow

GameZone's Review

Steven Hopper: Last year’s Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror was a revitalization of sorts for Sony’s long-stagnant Syphon Filter franchise, putting the excitement back into Gabe Logan’s stealth adventures. This year, Sony launched the sequel, Logan’s Shadow, for the PSP, proving that the series is back and here to stay. The game kept up the series’ newfound momentum with great gameplay and a great new story, making for one of the most compelling adventures you’ll take with the PSP this year.

Natalie Romano: The PSP has it’s share of great action games but this year the prize goes to Gabe Logan who really shines brightly in this great sequel. Logan’s Shadow is a tour de force action game that plays excellently on the PSP. Miss this one and you’ll kick yourself.

Eduardo Zacarias: Gabe Logan’s first foray into handheld territory was excellent enough to forget the lackluster PS2 game. Logan’s Shadow brings us more action as well as a great online multiplayer mode that fits on the palm of your hand. Action fans and PSP owners should have this game.

Angelina Sandoval: Gabe Logan is back and us PSP owners couldn’t be happier with this impressive sequel that plays far better than the console Syphon Filter games. It even has a great online multiplayer mode as well so this is the perfect PSP package.

Nick Valentino: Logan’s Shadow is a worthy successor to the impressive Dark Mirror and thanks to some improvements this one just makes this a real Must Have for your PSP.
