Game Review

Thomas & Friends stars the beloved train engine Thomas, plus other characters from the show, in this adventure style game for young children. There's been a terrible storm and there is debris scattered around the countryside, impeding progress on the train tracks. It's up to Thomas and his friends to help clean everything up so things can get back to running on time. This is an adventure... Read Review

EA Announces Skate 3

This is the moment I've personally been waiting for, I'm a rabid fan of the Skate series because of the realism. Skate 3 looks like its going to up the notch a bit with new tricks, an entire brand new city (no recycled Skate or Skate 2 city parts). Skate 3 is set to launch in May 2010. Check out the teaser below and see for yourself how awesome the dark-slides and kick-flip under-flips look. Hit the break to read the full press release! Read More

CodeMasters Wants More Jasons

"Jason" is not a bad name, and seems to be one of the more popular male names in the US. However, in the UK, it's another story, and one that Codemasters seeks to change. MLB Front Office Manager Announced for Xbox 360 and PS3

All the people who are most interested in this game announcement are probably watching the Philadelphia Phillies battle the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS right now -- like me, but I'm multitasking -- but here goes: 2K Sports pulled the curtains on MLB Front Office Manager, a simulation of the business side of baseball for Xbox 360 and PS3. MLB Front Office Manager lets gamers do everything a real-life baseball GM can do to develop a team from Spring TrainingTM through a full MLB season, into the playoffs and the World Series. Using Major League teams and players, gamers will create their own fictional baseball universe and build their reputation into elite status. Gamers can replace aging veterans with rookies, scout the Minor Leagues, make blockbuster trades, and even participate in bidding wars for posted players from Japan as they make their way to the Hall of Fame. -- 2K Sports Press Release The game is fully endorsed by Oakland A's General Manager and Moneyball theorist Billy Beane, who'll provide gamers support and advice throughout the game. Sounds like MLBFOM will only appeal to die-hard baseball fans and fantasy baseball enthusiasts, which means, well, I'll be picking this up on Day One. Go Cubs!
