Nintendo's First-Quarter 2010 Lineup Revealed

Today, Nintendo issued a press release which reveals their lineup for the first quarter of 2010, which includes Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, whose box art can be seen above, as well as new pink and blue Wii Remote/MotionPlus packages on February 14th. "Along with the current White and Black versions of the controller, now every player in four-player matches can have his or her own color." Of course, the lineup isn't limited to first-party offerings, though many of the "dates" posted are rather vague, including "March," "Spring," "Q1," and in the case of No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, "late January." Media: SEGA Reveals Sonic Classic Collection for DS

It appears that some of the rumors and theories surrounding the registration of "Sonic Classic Collection" with the BBFC were indeed true after all. Today, SEGA Europe announced the title, which will be hitting their shelves in March 2010; as of this writing, SEGA America has yet to say anything about a release over here. It brings together the four main SEGA Genesis Sonic titles, "optimised to take full advantage of the Nintendo DS system" by letting players save anywhere at any time, plus videos and "collectible pictures" for fans. But, there seems to be something they aren't telling us; check out the pic from Sonic & Knuckles; could this version introduce some new form of co-op or competition between Sonic and his friendly rival, Knuckles? MGS4: Not the End for Metal Gear?

After bringing you the gist of what the Kojima Report podcast had to reveal this week, one might think that there's nothing else to be said. But then, one might be wrong. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots has been touted as many things, not the least of which being a huge hit waiting to happen for Sony, just waiting to show what the PlayStation 3 is capable of. It has also been touted as possibly being the final Metal Gear Solid game helmed by Producer Hideo Kojima, and the final adventure of Solid Snake. And who knows?
