RUMOR: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier to Support Natal?

Mysterious, shadowy and anonymous "sources" of French gaming site JeuxVideo have claimed that the upcoming Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will support Natal. This would make the game one of the first high-profile titles to support the device. Allegedly, the special mode for Natal will involve players holding the 360 controller in one hand for thumbstick movement while waving their other hand around for purposes as-yet unknown. One-handed control with added arm-waggling? Gamers have responded to this idea with mixed opinions. Read more after the jump. Read More

Sony Claim Move Will Cater to Both Hardcore and Casual Gamers

SCEA's head of marketing Peter Dille believes that PlayStation Move will appeal to both the casual and hardcore markets. He claims that Move offers gamers something more than both Nintendo and Microsoft's forays into the waggle arena. "Hardcore gamers have looked down their nose at motion gaming," he said, speaking with the Financial Times. "It's not particularly satisfying for them because it's not terribly precise or challenging." Will Move change all that? More after the break. Read More

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Dev Weighs In on Shortcomings of Darkside, Extraction

Comments from Capcom and SEGA about the sales of their Mature-rated Wii titles have spread like wildfire around the internet. To that end, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Lead Designer Sam Barlow has decided to respond to the allegations that there is no such market on the console. "Without badmouthing people," he told the UK's Official Nintendo Magazine, "a lot of the games they've been complaining about are rail shooters and a rail shooter wouldn't have sold no matter what platform you put it on because it's a rail shooter and that's a niche genre that had its heyday back in the Dreamcast era." Silent Hill Shattered Memories Wii Release Date Confirmed

Konami today confirmed that Silent Hill Homecoming will come out on the Wii in North America on December 8th. After many rumors many retailers had been suggesting this for some time but now we know for sure. Originally the game was supposed to come out for the Wii, PS2, and PSP right around now in early November. Last month however, retailer listings started moving around in different places for all the platforms with no word from Konami. Konami later told ComputerAndVideogames that the game was coming out in February with no specifics on platforms. However, because ComputerAndVideogames is a Europe-based site, Konami could have been telling them the game's European date. Since late October, retailers had settled on an early December date for the Wii version of Shattered Memories with the PS2 and PSP versions shipping in winter 2010. Read More

Silent Hill Shattered Memories Delayed to 2010

Konami has told ComputerAndVideogames that Silent Hill Shattered Memories will launch in February of 2010. This is the only direct comment anyone has received from Konami on the game's release date amid much confusion from retailers. "It's out in Feb, but has never been officially confirmed as anything else," Konami representative said, pointing out how they never actually gave retailers any of the dates they listed. "A few retail sites put a loose November date on it, but we never officially gave it a date until recently." Read More

The Rocket Knight Returns

As you have no doubt determined by now, Konami has finally given in to the demands of the fans of Sparkster, and is bringing a new Rocket Knight adventure to Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network.
