Darkspawn Chronicles sends Dragon Age fans behind enemy lines

BioWare has officially announced Darkspawn Chronicles, a new expansion for Dragon Age: Origins that was leaked via Gamerscore Blog on Wednesday. Resident Evil 5 Producer Leaves For Now

The producer of Resident Evil 5 said recently that he wouldn't return for the next game. This further promotes speculation that the next major entry will be another drastic change for the franchise. Jun Takeuchi told Xbox 360 Magazine that he is leaving the series for a while. "As far as the series is concerned I'm not planning to return until at least two more Olympics have passed!" He said this after noting the pressure he felt from the series' legacy while producing RE5. "Yes, it's true we did feel extreme pressure - and [Shinji] Mikami-san's shadow - after Resi 4," he said. "However, because we were creating the sequel to this huge franchise we wanted to make our fresh direction clear." Read More

Nintendo's First-Quarter 2010 Lineup Revealed

Today, Nintendo issued a press release which reveals their lineup for the first quarter of 2010, which includes Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, whose box art can be seen above, as well as new pink and blue Wii Remote/MotionPlus packages on February 14th. "Along with the current White and Black versions of the controller, now every player in four-player matches can have his or her own color." Of course, the lineup isn't limited to first-party offerings, though many of the "dates" posted are rather vague, including "March," "Spring," "Q1," and in the case of No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, "late January."
