Nintendo Download - 2/15/10: New Game Downloads for Wii and Nintendo DSi Pack a Presidential Punch

Nintendo has a pretty decent lineup going on for the Nintendo Download this week, as Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: JUSTICE FOR ALL headlines the offerings on WiiWare, and just in time for the release of Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, which comes out tomorrow. Granted, it probably would have been better, chronologically speaking, had Trials and Tribulations and that fifth case from the original game come out as well, but I'd rather not wait. Joining Phoenix on WiiWare are the puzzle game Art of Balance and something of a stealth-based combat game in WarMen Tactics. DSiWare has an interesting new title from Nintendo called Spotto!, whose premise reminds me of Bomberman. There is also Scrabble, Prehistorik Man, Spaceball: Revolution, and Real Soccer 2010. Finally, just one release in the Virtual Console space, though it's a long-awaited one: Sonic & Knuckles. And yes, it will "Lock-On" with Sonic 2 and 3, if you have either or both downloaded. For full details, check out the press release after the cut. Read More

Nintendo Download - 1/11/10: When You See This Week's Downloads, You Will Have No...OBJECTION!

Depending on who you are, things have settled a bit for this week's Nintendo Download. If you're someone who's played the DS Ace Attorney series from start to finish, then today's big release may not interest you as much. But if you haven't... well, aren't you in for a treat. If you won't be donning the Defense Attorney's badge, then there are still some other items of interest, such as the adventure of Chronos Twins DX or the creativity of ShadowPlay, where you can turn various shadows into objects for puzzles. DSi gaming is a little more on the "standard" side, with Touch Solitaire, Jazzy Billiards, and Word Searcher. Meanwhile, Virtual Console has SEGA's Shanghai II: Dragon's Eye for the Genesis. But as exciting as it sounds, it turns out that it's just another Solitaire game. Solitaire with a twist, but Solitaire just the same. Check the full press release after the cut for more details on this week's releases. Read More

Media: Take That! The Phoenix Wright Trilogy Heads to WiiWare in Early 2010

As we learned earlier this week, the rumor is true that Capcom is bringing the Ace Attorney series to WiiWare. And as Capcom has now revealed, the games are coming out in North America and Europe early next year as well. While the European dates are unknown, the first game will come to North America in January, with Justice for All in March and Trials and Tribulations in May, each for 1,000 Wii Points. May will also bring the bonus fifth case from the DS version for 100 Wii Points. One would be remiss to not mention that each game finally has multiple save slots. Learn more about it in the press release after the cut, then check out our gallery, which has 58 images, including screens and new art of Phoenix and friends swinging Wii Remotes. Read More

More Miles Edgeworth: Perfect Prosecutor Info

Last week, we added to our gallery several images from the website for "Gyakuten Kenji," which translates into "Turnabout Kenji," but may be more affectionately known to fans here unofficially as "Miles Edgeworth: Perfect Prosecutor." However, being in Japanese, all the information from the site was of no real avail to us... that is, until now. Read More
