Take-Two Announces NHL 2K11 Wii Exclusivity

We heard rumors that NHL 2K11 had been cancelled, but the series will live on this season on the Wii. Recently, many developers have been moving away from platform exclusivity, but Take-Two is heading in the opposite direction. 2k Sports Says Play Hard or Go Home

Attention Xbox 360 gamers! Do you think you have what it takes to be the best there is at NBA 2K10? Well it's time to step up and prove it. 2k Sports announced today that registration for the NBA 2K10 All-Star Challenge — which is exclusive to the Xbox 360 — has officially started. Registration will run through Jan. 16, with round one of the playoffs slated for Jan. 23. The championship game will take place during the 2010 NBA All-Star Weekend, Feb. 12-14. The two finalists who make it through the five rounds of playoffs will be able to bring a guest to the championships, as well as receiving special access to Nike VIP events in Dallas. The winner of the competition will receive $10,000 and the opportunity to design one of the colorways for Kobe Bryant's signature shoe, the Zoom Kobe V. Nintendo Reveals First- and Third-Party Holiday Lineup

Nintendo has released the planned publishing schedule as it stands for the Wii and Nintendo DS/DSi, from both themselves and their third-parties. A lot of definite dates are not set in, instead referenced as "Fall," "Holiday," or "November," for example, but nonetheless serves to give us an idea of what the coming months will bring. "This extensive lineup will keep players busy throughout the fall and into 2010," said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. "Shoppers know that Nintendo offers fun for everyone in the household." XBL Update – 8/26/09: Mass Effect DLC and Racing Games

Unfortunately, there is not a whole lot to report on in the world of Xbox Live updates this week. The most notable release is probably the new DLC for BioWare's sci-fi RPG, Mass Effect. The new content will be heavy on the combat and take up about 2 to 3 hours of your time. You can grab it for 400 Points.
