'Disaster' Japanese Debut Doesn't Set Charts Ablaze, But Still Lands in Top 10

Where Nintendo games are concerned, it seems that Japan has their cake, and they're eating it, too. However, it may not be to their particular tastes. Nintendo and Monolith Soft's Disaster: Day of Crisis, which would no doubt sate a few traditional game-starved fans in the US, landed in the number ten spot of Japanese sales after its first week in stores. Beaten out by PS2 releases Super Robot Taisen and Kinnikuman, and PS3's Aquanaut's Holiday and Cross Edge, Kotaku brings an optimistic view to the results:The good news for Nintendo is that Wii titles don't always have their best showing in the first week.
